Tanna Island Experience

This 3-day tour takes you to Vanuatu’s most famous volcano. You fly from Port Vila to Tanna and spend two nights there to watch the volcano at close range.

White Grass Ocean Resort: small, simple accommodation right on the seafront. It consists of 14 bures (bungalows) with sea views, each with a bathroom with hot water, shower, WC, fan and mosquito net. A small pool and a tennis court are available to guests. Free Wi-Fi is available at reception.

Tanna Island Experience

Day 1 Port Vila - Tanna Island You are picked up in Port Vila in the morning and taken to the airport, where you check in for your domestic flight to Tanna Island. After a 45-minute flight you land on Tanna Island and are welcomed by a representative of the White Grass Ocean Resort. The transfer to your accommodation takes about 15 minutes by car. The afternoon is free for your own excursions.

Day 2 Tanna Island The morning is at your leisure. In the afternoon you visit Mount Yasur volcano and can explore the surrounding area until sunset.

Day 3 Tanna Island - Port Vila Today you are taken to Tanna Island airport, where you check in for your return flight to Port Vila.
