What is an adventure trip?

An adventure trip is not a package holiday. Peace and relaxation are not the main focus. The aim is to get to know the country, its people and its culture in an authentic way, with a dash of action. Discover fabulous destinations as part of a group and share unforgettable moments with people from all over the world. Instead of luxury hotels, you stay in simple accommodation or at campsites. The advantage: you experience the country up close and benefit from lower prices at the same time.

What all adventure trips have in common is that they always take you to regions ‘off the beaten track’ that you would struggle to find on your own. The unexpected is part of everyday life on an adventure trip. As the route often runs far from tarmac roads, it may occasionally be adjusted at short notice depending on the weather.

A guide for your adventure trip

As adventure travel is popular with people from all over the world, the guide usually speaks English (unless stated otherwise). The tours are led by qualified local guides who know the countries and regions they visit like the back of their hand.

A word about luggage

On voyageplan tours, each person may bring one piece of luggage weighing no more than 20kg, in the form of a soft travel bag. Suitcases are generally not permitted on adventure trips. We will be happy to tell you about the rules that apply to your trip.

Adventure travel: for the young and the young at heart

There is no age limit for adventure travel. While some trips are aimed more at travellers aged 18 to 39, many tours bring together guests aged between 20 and 70. As a participant, you will love sharing unforgettable discoveries with fellow travellers from all over the world.
