THE DREAM CITY

Sydney

Travel to Sydney

Sydney is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. No other major city on earth has so many beaches and parks. Sydney is not only a vibrant metropolis but also a city of leisure and a popular travel destination. Glorious bays and green hills close to the city invite you on lovely excursions. All of Sydney’s highlights are easy to reach by public transport.

Besides Sydney’s most famous sights, such as the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge, there is much more to discover in the region. A visit to Taronga Zoo, for example, offers a superb view of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. An excursion to Manly is also highly recommended. You can reach Manly in 30 minutes by ferry from Circular Quay. Once there, browse the shop windows along the Corso or – if you are feeling brave – take a surfing lesson on Manly Beach. For art lovers and anyone interested in crafts, a visit to the Paddington district is a must. Paddington Market takes place every Saturday; here visitors will find clothes, souvenirs, flowers and culinary treats.
