Itinerary
Nature Tour

Day 1 Adelaide – Kangaroo Island In the morning you are taken from your hotel in Adelaide to the airport for your Regional Express (REX) flight to Kangaroo Island. Straight after arrival you begin exploring the island with a visit to Seal Bay, where a walk along the beach tells you all about the sea lion colony that lives here. Next it’s on to the sand dunes of ‘Little Sahara’, where you enjoy a superb view of the coast. Heading inland from the coast, you visit Parndana Wildlife Park, which was set up to care for injured and orphaned animals. Here you can admire numerous birds, hold a koala or feed kangaroos. After lunch the tour continues to the north coast, to Snellings Bay and Strokes Bay. Depending on the weather, you can take a stroll along the beach or even go for a swim. Later in the afternoon you explore Lathami National Park, home to numerous species of kangaroo and wallaby. With a little luck you might even spot a black cockatoo or an echidna!
Day 2 Kangaroo Island – Adelaide Today you explore Flinders Chase National Park and its wonderful wildlife. You visit Admiral's Arch, an intriguing rock formation that is home to a colony of sea lions. Next it’s on to the Remarkable Rocks, which stand on the coast near Cape du Couedic. Lunch today is a real treat: steaks, potatoes, salad, wine and other drinks are prepared and served by your guide. After lunch your guide takes you to ‘Koala Avenue’, where you can watch koalas in the wild up in the trees. This is followed by a visit to Vivonne Bay. Depending on the weather, you can admire the crystal-clear water here and go looking for shells. At the end of the day your guide takes you to Kingscote airport for your flight to Adelaide. On arrival, transfer to your hotel in the city.
