Uluru & Kata Tjuta Experience

Day 1 Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park You visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre and later walk along the base of Uluru while your guide introduces you to the sacred sites, the flora and fauna and the fascinating culture of the Anangu people. You then continue to the Kuniya Walk, where your guide accompanies you to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole. In the late afternoon, you watch Uluru’s spectacular play of colours at sunset.

Day 2 Uluru – Watarrka National Park Today it’s an early start: you drive to Talinguru Nyakunytjaku, the viewing area for sunrise over Uluru. Then it’s on to the 36 mystical domes of Kata Tjuta, where you explore Walpa Gorge on foot. After some free time at the resort, you set off for dinner under the stars. Following another magical sunset over Uluru, an exclusive barbecue awaits you near the rock, with a menu full of local flavours, accompanied by wine, beer and soft drinks. Later, your guide takes you on a journey through the night sky, points out some of the visible constellations and shares Aboriginal stories about the stars.

Day 3 Uluru – Field of Light This morning you are collected and taken to the Field of Light, where you can wander among the 50,000 glowing spheres. At the top of a large sand dune, you are served tea, coffee or hot chocolate. From the viewpoint you can see both Uluru and Kata Tjuta as the desert comes to life. After sunrise you are taken back to your hotel and later to Ayers Rock Airport.
